Weather Historian Says We Should Expect More Snow
NEW YORK (WCBS 880/CBS 2) - Think we've had enough winter to last the rest of the season? New York City Weather historian Stephen Fybish says we are in for a lot more snow.
Fybish told WCBS 880 Reporter Marla Diamond when the city gets at least 8 inches of snow in December, the inches pile up for the rest of winter.
"There's been at least 21 inches of snow the rest of winter," said Fybish. "In two-thirds of those winters starting with a snowy December, there's been at least 30 inches of snow."

On Tuesday, Central Park got one inch of snow. Last week, nine inches fell onto Central Park.
