WATCH: Rowdy Roddy Piper Fires Up Mets Fans For Game 3 Of 1986 World Series

For the most part it doesn't seem like Mets fans have lost hope in their team after two completely different but equally disappointing losses to the Kansas City Royals in Games 1 and 2 of the World Series. And they shouldn't have because this series is far from over and is just making its way back to Citi Field where the raucous Mets faithful will be waiting to root their team on.

But, if you're a Mets fan that's feeling a little bit down and have lost a little bit of faith, here's all the inspiration you'll need to get back on the bandwagon and get those positive vibes flowing.

In 1986, the Mets lost Games 1 and 2 of the World Series to the Boston Red Sox at home and were in a bind heading to Fenway park for Games 3-5.

Fans might have been despondent, but then recently-deceased wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper stepped up and fired up the Mets faithful for Game 3.
