Vintage 1920s Subway Train Running As Part Of Promotion For HBO Series 'Boardwalk Empire'

NEW YORK (CBS 2/AP) -- The roaring '20s are coming to life in the New York City subway.

A fully restored, vintage 1920s subway train is running along the 2 and 3 lines between Times Square and 96th Street this weekend.

It's part of a promotional campaign for the HBO show "Boardwalk Empire" directed by Martin Scorsese. The four-car train is doing a limited run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. every weekend through September.

The MTA earned about $150,000 dollars from this ad campaign.
