'Tribeca Film Festival On The Road' Brings Indie Film Screenings To N.J.

WESTFIELD, N.J. -- The Tribeca Film Festival is making moves.

On Friday, Oct. 21, a taste of the world famous movie festival will come to New Jersey, as six indie films are shown at the Rialto Theater in Westfield.

The event, sponsored by American Express, is aptly named "Tribeca Film Festival On The Road."

There will also be appearances and Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, including actress Abigail Breslin.

There will be six indie films will be shown and there will be post-screening Q&A sessions with the filmmakers including actress Abigail Breslin (Janie Jones), actor Dennis Farina (The Last Rites of Joe May), and others. All sessions will include at least one filmmaker.

Tickets for the opening night screening and the after party (with cocktails) are sold out.  Weekend shows are $8 per screening, and proceeds will benefit the Tribeca Film Institute.
