Tony's Table: Paccheri Pasta With Shrimp Tomato Sauce
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – In this segment of Tony's Table, CBS 2's Tony Tantillo cooks up a paccheri pasta with a shrimp tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
Paccheri pasta
Shrimp
Tomato sauce
Yukon gold potatoes
Cubanelle peppers
Red onions
Garlic
Salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, thyme, olive oil, crushed red pepper
Method:
Cook paccheri pasta 15-20 minutes
Cut potatoes, peppers, red onions and garlic in tiny pieces and cook in olive oil
Add tomato sauce
As sauce heats up, cook shrimp and cut into small pieces before adding to sauce
Add a little bit of the pasta water in the sauce
Add oregano, parsley, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper to sauce
Add pasta from the boiling water and mix with the sauce
