3 Young Children Critically Injured In Bronx Laundromat Fire
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire at a Bronx apartment building Thursday night left 10 people injured, including three young children.
The FDNY said the fire happened at 270 Longstreet Ave., in Throgs Neck and started in a laundromat at the apartment at 7:35 p.m. and was under control by 8:05 p.m.
Of those injured in the incident, three children were hospitalized in critical condition, two adults were taken to the hospital in serious condition and four other adults suffered minor injuries and were listed in stable condition.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
