The Princess Bride brought a classic fairy tale, swordplay, giants, an evil prince, and a beautiful princess to the big screen back in 1987. Relive all the best moments during tonight's Summer on the Hudson screening along Pier 1. It's a perfect film for the whole family to enjoy! Admission is free and movie begins at sunset. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. Dogs are welcome.

Wednesday Night Skate Night

Break up your work week with a rolling workout. Bring your friends or make new ones at Wednesday Night Skate in Union Square. This two-hour street skate will take your through the streets of New York with plenty of stops along the way. Don't worry if it rains because the plan is to mingle at Mumbles, grab a few drinks, and hang out with your fellow skaters. Gather at 7:45 p.m. to put on your gear. Skating begins at 8 p.m.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your own mat. Class is free and goes from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. It's the perfect mid-week workout!

Enjoy the SummerScreen film series tonight at McCarren Park in Brooklyn. Enjoy live music and check out the food vendors starting at 5 p.m. before tonight's film, Heathers, plays on the big screen. Who can forget the class '80s film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater? Watch as Heather (Ryder), meets a rebel (Slater) who teacher her a more devious way to play social politics: by killing the popular kids. Yikes! Screening starts at sunset and admission is free.
