For those with a serious sweet tooth, head over to Duet Brasserie in the West Village. Their Dulce De Leche Donuts ($14) are served warm and covered with powdered sugar. These bite-sized delicacies, also known as Russian ponchiki, are filled with dulce de leche that has been tempered with pastry cream, making it slightly less sweet. As if that isn't enough, they're served with a small tube of filling for you to add to each bite (or take home for later). Don't be afraid to get your hands sticky – in fact, it's encouraged.

Chef Thiago Silva is making an Apple Pie Donut at CATCH that is worth the extra calories. This $13 dessert is served with cream cheese custard, fragrant praline ice cream, graham streusel, rum raisins, and caramel. There's a reason Chef Silva was just named one of the Top 10 Pastry Chefs in America by Dessert Professional magazine and won an episode of Chopped last month – he knows how to put ingredients together to make one memorable dish. You'll certainly walk away remembering this one.

Chocolate lovers should claim their seat at Amali to get their hands on the Dark Chocolate Cake Doughnuts. This $11 dessert comes with mint chip gelato and fudge sauce –who can say no to a donut sundae? Grab a spoon and dig into this sweet concoction that is made with fresh mint and dusted with mint sugar. Make sure to pair them with a French Press Coffee for the table ($12) or one of their dessert wines like their Vinatge port ($20) or Pineau des Charentes ($12).

Those looking to dip their donuts into something decadent should stop by A Voce in Columbus Circle. Their Bamboloni (Italian doughnuts) are served with chocolate hazelnut fonduta (warm bitter chocolate sauce) and maldon salt. This dolci will cost you $12 but can you really put a price on deliciousness? We think not. Rumor has it their Madison location serves their Bamboloni with a salted caramel sauce. Swoon.
