Taxi Driver, Second Man Stabbed In Paterson, N.J.

PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A taxi driver and another man were hospitalized early Sunday after they were both stabbed in Paterson, N.J.

The attack happened around 1:35 a.m. Sunday near Summer and Oak streets in Paterson, police said. It was not clear what sparked the incident.

Police say the taxi driver drove himself to the hospital, while the other man was taken there via ambulance. Their names were not disclosed.

Authorities said both victims are expected to recover from their wounds.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon. Authorities would not say what type of weapon the assailant used in the attack.
