Suspect Sought After Woman Stabbed In Queens Driveway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A home health care worker remains hospitalized after police said she was attacked just feet from her door Tuesday morning in Queens.

Kerline Denizard was on her way to work when she was attacked in her driveway around 5 a.m. on 221st Street in Queens Village, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.

Police said the 36-year-old woman was slashed across the throat and arms and stabbed in the back before a passing motorist scared the attacker away.

Doctors were able to stabilize Denizard at the hospital, Jones reported.

No arrests have been made.

The victim's sister said Denizard had recently complained about being harassed and followed.
