Surveillance Video Released Of Attack On Man In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a group of young men who were caught on surveillance video beating a man in broad daylight earlier this month.
According to police, the group of five men assaulted the 25-year-old victim outside 674 Allerton Ave. in the Bronx around 4:45 p.m. on May 5.
Police said the suspects hit the victim with a baseball bat and stabbed him with a knife or similarly sharp instrument several times about his body.
One of the suspects removed a chain from the victim's neck before the group fled the scene, authorities said.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police released surveillance video of the attack, and said the suspect with the knife or sharp instrument is seen wearing a black tank top and black shorts.
