New York City Council Hearing On SoHo Rezoning Plan
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City Council hearing is scheduled Thursday to discuss plans to rezone the SoHo and NoHo neighborhoods.
The plan would allow the city to create more housing developments and office space in the area.
The City Council's Land Use Committee is expected to vote on the measure Thursday. It then goes for a full council vote next week.
Mayor Bill de Blasio is expected to sign the measure into law before he leaves office on Jan. 1.
