Shooting At Long Island Garage Leaves 2 Men Wounded
COPIAGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Suffolk County that left two men injured.
Police said two suspects, both wearing all black with black hooded sweatshirts, fired a shotgun through a the door of a garage at 55 Daly Place when 37-year-old Luis Tejada-Pena and 43-year-old Juan Marines were playing poker.
The two victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said Tejada-Pena and Marines tried to bar the entry door at the time of the shooting, around 1:55 a.m. Sunday.
The two suspects fled the scene on foot.
