Report: Tony Bennett Retires From Touring
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Tony Bennett has retired from touring, on orders from his doctor.
That's according to a report in Variety.
Bennett, 95, just played two shows at Radio City Music Hall with Lady Gaga.
He had been planning to do some additional shows, but Bennett's family now says he is cancelling remaining concerts on Staten Island, at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and in other cities.
Earlier this year, Bennett's family revealed the legendary singer was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016.
