SEE IT: Painted Bunting, Rare Bird Breed In NYC, Spotted In Brooklyn Bridge Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – There's something new in a Brooklyn park that's getting a lot of attention.
It's being called the latest "cele-birdy" in the city.
Photographer Heather Wolf captured the female Painted Bunting in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
It has bright yellow feathers and the New York City Parks Department says they are rare in the area.
So if you're in park, look up, you may catch a glimpse of the special visitor!
