Queens Police Officer Charged With Soliciting A Prostitute
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City police office is in some trouble with the law, himself.
Officer Luis Gutierrez, 37, was arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute on Thursday.
Law enforcement sources told 1010 WINS the officer from the 114th Precinct in Queens was on duty when he allegedly offered a prostitute money.
There was just one problem.
Sources said the prostitute was an undercover cop. Gutierrez, who has been on the force for a dozen years, was also charged with official misconduct and conspiracy.
Gutierrez was given a desk appearance ticket.
