City Takes Aim At Stalking In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Queens is getting an anti-stalking program.
The Queens district attorney's office and the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence will work with the NYPD to link victims to services and to increase reporting and identification of stalking incidents, WCBS 880's Ginny Kosola reported.

Indentifcation of incidents on Staten Island increased more than 200 percent last year under the same program.
Queens stalking victims will be provided with safety planning and other services from the New York City Family Justice Center in Kew Gardens, as the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence works to prevent stalking in the borough.
NYPD officers will learn how to identify stalking and what to do about it before there is a physical assault or someone is killed.
