Police: Man Critically Injured After Falling From Hotel Window
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- A man was critically injured after falling from a window at an Upper West Side hotel, police said.
The 29-year-old victim fell out of a window at the Days Hotel on West 94th Street, CBS2 reported.
The man, who is from Washington state, checked into the hotel on Thursday.
The man went off the scaffolding on the 10th floor and landed on a sidewalk shed, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.
The impact was so loud, one local resident said it sounded like a gunshot.
Police are unsure of whether the man fell or if he was pushed. He was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.
