Pilot Of Single-Engine Cessna Plane Crashes Into Ocean In Surf City, N.J.
SURF CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A pilot survived after crashing a single-engine Cessna plane into the ocean Saturday.
It happened near Ocean Avenue in Surf City, New Jersey, around 3:30 p.m.
Beach-goers gathered as the pilot was rescued and brought to shore.
We're told he was the only person on board.
The FAA will now investigate what went wrong.
