Scott, Cotchery On WFAN: Jets Make Own Luck
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery joined Joe Benigno & Evan Roberts Tuesday to talk about the Jets' wild overtime win against the Cleveland Browns.
"I'm doing a lot better. I was surprised by the way I felt yesterday and even today," Cotchery said about the groin tear he sustained Sunday. "The training staff did a great job of jumping on the treatment right after the game."
On whether he can suit up for Week 11:
"The doc couldn't give me a timetable. It's one of those deals where I have to see how my body responds to the treatment," said Cotchery.
"We have a couple of games coming up in a short time span, so I want to be up to full speed and not miss any more games than I have to."
On his huge catch in overtime after pulling up with the groin injury:
"I was just hobbling, just trying to stay alive and find an opening in the zone," said the Jets' receiver. "He threw the ball to me, I didn't think he was going to throw it to me... I just stretched out and caught the ball."

"Sometimes when you're a good team you can make your own luck," said Scott about the 7-2 Jets.
On expecting to win:
"We just believe we'll win. We're not afraid of adversity," Scott said. "Whatever comes, comes - we deal with it."
