NYS Posts 90 Virtual Tours Of Parks, Attractions Online
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- If you're planning a big trip to a New York State park, you may want to check out a new website to help plan your visit.
New York recently posted online more than 90 virtual tours of parks, campgrounds, attractions and other popular destinations around the state.

Officials said the 360-degree, color, panoramic images were created with the intent to make it easier for tourists to plan their next outing. The images also link to brief descriptions of the sites, highlights and contact information.
The locations range from Jones Beach on Long Island to Niagara Falls at the western edge of the state and Lake George in the Adirondacks.
Four of the virtual tours are on Long Island and New York City, nine in the Hudson Valley, four in the Catskills, five in Saratoga and the greater Albany area, nine in central New York, 16 in the Adirondacks, 22 in the Thousand Islands, 11 in the Finger Lakes and 12 in western New York.
