NYPD Detective In Sex Offender Unit Accused Of Sexually Abusing 12-Year-Old Girl
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An NYPD detective has been arrested on sex abuse charges involving a 12-year-old girl.
Juan Jimenez is accused of groping and trying to kiss the girl inside a Brooklyn apartment building, where they both live.
The 37-year-old detective, who was reportedly assigned to the sex offender's monitoring unit, has been suspended without pay.
