NJ Man, 49, Accused Of Sexual Conduct With 3 Girls

BERGENFIELD, N.J. (AP) -- A Bergenfield man is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with three girls under the age of 13.

Forty-nine-year-old Rodolfo Montemayor is charged with three counts each of second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

The Bergen County prosecutor's office says the charges were reported to the Bergenfield Police Department on Friday, and an investigation ensued. Montemayor was arrested Saturday.

Judge Lois Lipton set bail at $125,000. She ordered Montemayor to have no contact with the three girls and surrender his passport.

Montemayor is being held at the Bergen County Jail. A jail official would not provide The Associated Press with information on Montemayor's legal representation.

His arraignment is set for Feb. 2.
