NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Take a fresh look at what One World Trade Center will look like when it's finished.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the developer, The Durst Organization, released 13 new renderings of the three-million-square-foot tower. The renderings include recent design modifications to the skyscraper already under construction.
The renderings show how the undulating skyscraper will look as part of the skyline. The computer-generated images give vantage points from New Jersey, Staten Island, Lower Manhattan, and Brooklyn, among others.
The skyscraper, formerly known as the Freedom Tower, will be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the third tallest in the world when it's completed. Including the antenna at the top, the skyscraper will measure 1,776 feet tall.
The building surpassed the Empire State Building as the tallest skyscraper in New York earlier this year, when steel columns were installed.
The developers are working to make One World Trade one of the most sustainable office buildings of its size and to achieve LEED Gold certification standards.
One World Trade is expected to be completed in early 2014.
