County Executive Ed Mangano wants to hear from residents, so he set up an e-mail address and phone number for the public to report potholes. Many county roads have become riddled with potholes, thanks in large part to the barrage of winter storms to batter the Tri-State since Christmas.
Mangano said this will help the Department of Public Works to determine where the biggest pothole problems are located.
Residents who spot hazardous potholes in their area should send an e-mail the following e-mail address: pothole_emergencies@nassaucountyny.gov.
Residents can also call Nassau County's DPW at (516) 571-6900.
