Driver Finds Burning Body In Manorville, Long Island
MANORVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police were investigating after a dead body was discovered on fire Thursday afternoon in Manorville, Long Island.
A driver traveling on Wading River-Manor Road in Manorville noticed a fire on the side of the road, and discovered that it was a body that was burning, Suffolk County police said.
Riverhead Town Police were first notified, and Suffolk police were called to the scene after the passerby called 91 around 1:45 p.m., police said.
The victim remained unidentified as of Thursday night.
