Man opens fire in Brooklyn, shoots dog, police say
The NYPD wants your help finding a Brooklyn shooting suspect.
The bullet wound up striking a dog, according to police.
It happened Wednesday at 5:46 p.m. on 31st Street near Fifth Avenue in Midwood.
Police said the man fired a shot at another man, but it hit a 7-year-old dog instead.
The dog was rushed to an animal hospital and survived.
The suspect ran off on Fifth Avenue toward 36th Street.
