NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded on Staten Island.

Tyrell Jackson has been charged with murder, attempted murder, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon in last week's incident, police announced Monday.

Joseph Brown, 20, was killed in the shooting that occurred around 6 a.m. Friday at 73 Bodine Street in Port Richmond, police said.

A 21-year-old man, identified as Brown's brother, was shot in the stomach and is being treated at a local hospital.

Law enforcement sources had told 1010 WINS the shooting may have stemmed from a noise complaint.
