Malaysia Noodle Festival Hits Meatpacking District For Tuesday's Lunch
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) --Feel like spicing up your lunch break?
The first ever Malaysia Noodle Festival hits the Meatpacking District Tuesday, bringing a number of Tri-State area restaurants together to serve up all sorts of noodle-based concoctions to hungry folk looking for lunch.
Hosted by Malaysia Kitchen for the World, participating venues include Fatty Crab, Bentara and Todd English's Ember Room.

Event organizers are looking to create an atmosphere "reminiscent of the open-air markets of Kuala Lumpur and Penang," by setting up vibrant decor - bright, colorful tents, umbrellas and lanterns.
The hope is to showcase the variety of available Malayasia noodle dishes - from Laksa soups to stir fries.
The event is open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and all food will be on sale for $4 to $8.
