Made-Up Names Appear In Upstate High School Yearbook
SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) --A small town is upset over a big mistake in a high school yearbook.
Some students at Hoosic Valley High School in upstate New York were not properly named in the captions under the track and field team's photos in the yearbook.
Instead, they were identified by made-up names including "Some tall guy," "Creepy smile kid," and "Isolation Kid."
Other students were identified as "Someone."
School officials called it an "honest mistake."
Editors accidentally sent the yearbook to the printer with "spaceholders" under photos instead of the real student names, CBS 2 reported.
School officials said corrections are being made.
