Local Organizer Tries Bribery To Get Protesters At Occupy Darien
DARIEN, CT (WCBS 880) - Day two of Occupy Darien drew only a few protesters - even fewer than day one during which eleven people showed up. That's one for every police officer assigned to keep the peace.

Organizer Margaret Rague had hoped to draw a crowd. She withdrew $1,000 in cash. She gave it to a couple of friends who she sent to New York to buy train tickets to transport protesters north to Darien.
"Richard Duffy is going down to Chinatown with Tommy Fox and if they see anyone they're going to send them up. The problem I think they're confronting is it's Christmas time," Rague told WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau.
Tilley Pond Park, it would seem, is not to become another Zuccotti Park.
Even though there are no protesters, the locals are in the park enjoying an unusually sunny and balmy first day of winter.
Still, Rague thinks she's getting her message out.
"Give away everything you have to the poor until there are no longer any poor. Give away every last cent, every last minute of your time, every single thing you have," she said.
