Man, 22, Fatally Shot Outside East Village Housing Complex
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in outside an East Village housing complex.
Officers were called to the Lillian Wald Houses on East Sixth Street just before 2 a.m. Friday.
When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old man near the courtyard suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso.
He was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital, where police say he died.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
