Consumer-Savings Expert Offers Tips For Last-Minute Holiday Shoppers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- According to a recent survey from the National Retail Federation, 90 percent of shoppers have over half of their gift shopping left to complete. One in four shoppers haven't even started yet.

Some shoppers are waiting for better savings, some don't know what to buy, and some may just be procrastinating.

But with less than a week until Christmas, it is time to get on that.

Consumer-savings expert Andrea Woroch stopped by the CBS2 studios with some some tips for shopping at the last minute without breaking the bank.

"I think that's the biggest issue with last-minute shopping is you compromise your budget because you run out to just by whatever's out there for those last-minute purchases," Woroch told CBS2's Diane Macedo.
