Police said Plaza Bootery owner Lee Mendez was charged with trademark counterfeiting for allegedly selling fake Uggs and Northface jackets in a January incident, and now Mendez faces robbery in the third degree charges for stealing a customer's purse.

The 46-year-old is due back in court on Monday for a felony hearing.

Before the alleged robbery happened, agents from the DA's office raided the store and found a dozen counterfeit Ugg boots and Northface jackets.

Police said if you bought items from Mendez that you suspect are counterfeit, give them a call.
