WATCH: Juan Lagares' Catch — Simply Amazin'!

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Juan Lagares has another clip for his highlight reel -- and this might be the best one yet.

In the top of the seventh inning Wednesday night against the Braves, with the Mets down 2-1, the Gold-Glove center fielder sprinted back for a deep fly off the bat of Atlanta's Jace Peterson.

The wind was swirling, playing tricks with the ball. But Lagares did what Lagares does. He found a way to make the catch, bending his body a la Odell Beckham Jr.

"I don't know how I made that play," Lagares said, according to MLB.com.

The catch left ace Matt Harvey speechless: "I … I mean … he … it's …"

The Mets rallied for their 10th straight win and now have sole possession of baseball's best record at 12-3. After the game, the buzz in the clubhouse was all about the 26-year-old's sensational grab.

"Juan doing Juan things," said starting pitcher Dillon Gee, who pitched seven innings of two-run ball in the 3-2 victory. "I'm lucky enough I actually get paid to watch him do that on a daily basis."

Oh yeah, and Lagares has a nine-game hitting streak. He's been held hitless in only two of 15 games.

But still ... that catch...

"It's just an incredible play," said SNY analyst Keith Hernandez, who was pretty nifty with the glove during his playing days. "He is wonderful. My goodness."
