Singer Jimmy Buffett Gives Surprise Performance At New Margaritaville Resort Times Square

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Soon, a trip to Margaritaville will be as close as Manhattan.

Singer Jimmy Buffett gave a surprise performance Thursday as he showed off his new Margaritaville Resort Times Square.

It was part of a first-look celebration for the new 32-story hotel located at Seventh Avenue and 40th Street.

The official opening is set for July 1.
