Jersey Shore Stabbing Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured
TUCKERTON, N.J., (AP) -- Officials were trying to determine what triggered a stabbing at the Jersey shore that left one man dead and a woman in critical condition.
The woman's son was arrested after police arrived at her home in Tuckerton Tuesday night.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says 63-year-old Kenneth Robinson died and his 65-year-old companion, Meredith Cahill, is in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.
Cahill's 41-year-old son, Michael, was taken into custody.
The Asbury Park Press reports he was found innocent by reason of insanity in 2003 in the accidental fatal shooting of a Little Egg Harbor woman.
