NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie loves his Cowboys, and he doesn't care who knows it.
The politician was seen celebrating like a schoolboy in owner Jerry Jones' box on Sunday when Dallas defeated the Lions in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
"He's a Cowboy fan through and through," Jones told Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan (CBS Dallas) on Tuesday. "I met him through the Cowboys, and I'm excited about it. He's part of our mojo. I want him there all the way."
The Cowboys will take on the favored Packers at Lambeau Field in the divisional playoffs on Sunday.

As for the celebration seen 'round the world? Jones doesn't know what the fuss is all about.
"We were doing the same thing that everybody there was doing," he told CBS Dallas. "That's just absolutely expressing the joy of the moment."
Jones wants the governor to join him in Green Bay for the highly anticipated matchup against Aaron Rodgers and Co.
"I don't know how we, in any way, can think about going up there without having him," the owner said. "With the way we're playing, and the mojo."
