NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- With Fireman Ed in retirement, Gang Green is turning to its fans to lead the famous "J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!" chant.

Included in the team's annual swag package for season-ticket holders was a brief rundown of how life after "Fireman Ed" Anzalone will look -- er, sound.

Here's the gist: MetLife Stadium will be divided into four parts, with each section responsible for a letter. That takes care of the "J-E-T-S." Though not specifically stated, we can assume the entire stadium will take part in the "JETS! JETS! JETS!" payoff.

The team also encouraged fans to "start practicing your loudest J-E-T-S chant!"

A map of the chant sections (version 2.0) was included in the mailing. It's also available online -- so start studying up.

One season-ticket holder who posted an image of the instructions told the New York Daily News that the "idea is far-fetched."

"Can't work with a fan who has no idea what section the cutoff is for a certain letter," the fan, Jason P. from Seacaucus, N.J., told the Daily News. "It's better in theory not reality."

Fireman Ed, the die-hard known for leading New York's chant, retired as the Jets' unofficial mascot in 2012.
