FBI Identifies Serial Bank Robber 'Dapper Bandit' As Dana Connor

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The "Dapper Bandit" has a name.

The FBI is asking for the public's assistance in locating Dana Connor, dubbed the "Dapper Bandit" because he typically wears a suit during bank heists.

Connor is wanted in connection with 10 New York area bank robberies since September, police said.

"We nicknamed him the 'Dapper Bandit' because he often enters a bank quite well dressed -- either in a suit or sports coat," FBI spokesman J. Peter Donald told 1010 WINS' Eileen Lehpamer.
