Police: Man Killed In Queens Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Flushing, Queens, early Sunday morning.
Investigators say Mariano Contreras, 41, of Corona, was crossing College Point Boulevard mid-block just after 1 a.m. when he was hit by a dark-colored SUV.
He was transported to New York Hospital of Queens, where he was pronounced dead.
