Sources: Cuba Gooding, Jr. Expected To Face Forcible Touching Charges In Alleged Groping Incident; Set To Turn Himself In Thursday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. is going to meet with the NYPD Thursday in a case of alleged inappropriate touching.

The actor has agreed to turn himself in to the Special Victims Unit and is expected to face charges.

Gooding is accused of groping a woman Sunday night at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge in Midtown.

Sources tell CBS2 he is expected to be charged with forcible touching. Sources say police believe they have probable cause for an arrest, namely video from the location.

He denies the allegation and so far has not been charged with a crime.

Gooding won an Academy Award for his role in the 1997 film "Jerry Maguire."
