Crane Removing Tree Topples On Top Of House In New Jersey
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A 63,000-pound crane hit a house in Mercer County, New Jersey, on Friday.
The incident happened just after noon on Miry Brook Road in Hamilton Township.
Police say workers were using the tri-axle crane to take down a tree when it tipped on its side.
The boom of the crane damaged the roof of a home. No one was injured.
Emergency crews responded to stabilize and remove the crane.
There is no word on what caused the accident.
