Catholic Churches In New York City Open To 100% Capacity

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There was a major step taken on the road to reopening for churches on Sunday.

Catholic churches in the city opened to full capacity.

At St. Patrick's Cathedral, Timothy Cardinal Dolan had packed pews.

Parishioners were encouraged to continue to wear masks while in church and anyone not vaccinated was asked to social distance from anyone not in their household.
