Brother Of L.I. Pharmacy Murder Victim Plans Fundraiser
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – As the case moves forward in the Medford, Long Island pharmacy murders, so does the sadness for the victims.
While David Laffer and wife Melinda Brady pleaded guilty for the horrific execution-style murders earlier this month, Daniel Tessetta is still mourning for his sister Jamie.
"My sister was my best friend and somebody that I lost and never in my lifetime will I ever get to speak to her again," Tessetta said.

His family is planning a fundraiser to pay for the cost of Jamie's funeral.
"Oct. 22 we are going to be having a fundraiser for my sister," Tessetta said. "It's going to be at the Medford Fire Department."
Jamie was also engaged to be married before she was killed.
"It's very hard, very hard for me," her brother said.
