Police: Man Groped Sleeping Woman On N Train In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Thursday for a suspect who allegedly groped a 25-year-old woman while she slept on the subway in Brooklyn.

Around 5:30 p.m. Monday, the woman was sleeping on an outbound N Train near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, when the suspect began touching her buttocks, police said.

A witness saw what happened and woke her up and told her, police said.

The suspect fled the train at the Atlantic Avenue station, and there were no reports of injuries, police said.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect.
