Brooklyn restaurant shooting leaves 1 employee dead, another injured, police sources say

A shooting at a Brooklyn restaurant early Sunday morning left one employee dead and another injured, police sources say.

Authorities say two men were shot inside American Best Wings and Pizza on Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville just after 12 a.m.

It's unclear if the gunman was outside or inside the restaurant.

When officers arrived, police say they found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Both were taken to a local hospital, where the 44-year-old man was pronounced dead. We're told the 39-year-old man is in stable condition.

Police have not yet identified the victims.

The restaurant where the shooting happened is a late-night spot that stays open until 3 a.m.

Police say they are looking for a man in connection to the shooting.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting at this time.
