Police: Man Gropes Woman Walking On Street In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to identify a man who they said grabbed and groped a woman on the street in Brooklyn.

It happened at 5 a.m. back on Jan. 17.

Police said a 37-year-old woman was walking on Eldert Street when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her by the shoulder, pulled her close and then groped her.

That's when police said the woman hit the suspect in the face with her keys. The man then took off.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video. Police describe him as a Hispanic man about 4'11" weighing between 130 and 140 pounds.
