Police Search For 3 Suspects In Connection With Bronx Subway Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video of three suspects wanted in connection with a string of robberies on the subway in the Bronx.

Police said there have been three very similar hold ups on the No. 6 train over the last 10 days.

The first robbery happened inside the train station at Southern Boulevard and East 149 Street on Nov. 16, police said.

The same suspects are believed to have struck again on Nov. 17 at the Southern Boulevard and Longwood Avenue station.

The latest incident happened on Tuesday at the 149th Street station.

In each case, police said the victim was assaulted by the suspects, though no serious injuries were reported.

In all, the suspects stole cash, credit cards, smart phones and a bicycle, police said.

Authorities described the suspects as two black males and one Hispanic male between the ages of 18 and 20.
