Boomer & Carton: Yanks' Excitement, Jets' Uncertainty And Giants' Concerns
It was a magical night in the Bronx, as the Yankees beat the White Sox 6-4 in come-from-behind fashion. Craig got things started by declaring 'that is what September baseball is all about' -- furthering his defense against naysayers who do not support his controversial 'Mets Fans For Yankees' congregation.
The Booms enjoyed the game based on the 'NL flavor' - the Bombers did not homer in the win, instead played 'small ball' to score their six runs. The Booms went as far as to call the victory a 'signature win' -- Yankee baseball.
Boomer and Craig briefly mentioned the Mets, as Matt Harvey mulls over the decision of whether or not to have surgery to fix his elbow. The guys agree they would advise to have the procedure and let the healing begin.
The Jets are still being evasive with regards to their starting quarterback and have a head coach who is a mere shell of himself. As for the Giants, their lack of depth at the running back position should be a major concern.
So it was all of that and much more getting this Wednesday morning party started...
